Welcome
Welcome to St. Patrick's Mullinahoe
Dear Parents/Guardians
We invite you to explore our school website and join us—alongside staff, parents, and friends of St. Patrick’s in celebrating the achievements of our wonderful children. Our hope is that you’ll find all the information you need and enjoy this window into the life of our school.
At St. Patrick’s, we strive to recognise and nurture each child’s unique talents. Our goal is to provide pupils with memorable, lifelong learning experiences. We believe our school is truly special: a vibrant learning environment supported by dedicated teachers and staff, where pupils are engaged, enthusiastic, and proud of their school.
Please visit regularly for the latest news, updates, and insights into school life. Explore the headings above and visit the “Classes” section to see what’s happening in your child’s classroom. If you need any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards,
J Canavan

Pupil Absence Form
Attending school every day is important for a child’s learning, their wellbeing, empowerment and self-confidence.
The EA and DE booklet ATTENDANCE MATTERS booklet Practical guidance to improve attendance together states;
“Good” attendance at school is not only linked to academic achievement, but it is connected to pupils’ emotional health and wellbeing and supports them to thrive within their community.
If a child is absent from St Patrick's, for any reason, parents/guardians should notify the school and explain their absence by using the ‘Report A Pupil Absence’ form.
