Welcome

Welcome to St. Patrick's Primary School Mullinahoe

2024/25

Dear Parents

I invite you to browse our school website and join with our staff, parents and friends of St. Patrick’s in celebrating the achievements of our wonderful children. We hope you find all the information you are looking for and that the website will give you a window into the life of our school.

Our aim is to recognise each child's individual talents, we want pupils at St Patrick's to have memorable lifelong learning experiences. I believe our school is very special, we have a learning environment to be proud of, amazing teachers and support staff, and as a result pupils are engaged, enthusiastic and proud of their school.

Keep visiting us to get the latest news, updates and information about school life. Look at the headings above and go to classes to see what is taking place in your child’s classroom. If there is anything else you would like to know about our school, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind Regards

Pupil Absence Form

Attending school every day is important for a child’s learning, their wellbeing, empowerment and self-confidence.

The EA and DE booklet ATTENDANCE MATTERS booklet Practical guidance to improve attendance together states;

“Good” attendance at school is not only linked to academic achievement, but it is connected to pupils’ emotional health and wellbeing and supports them to thrive within their community.

If a child is absent from St Patrick's, for any reason, parents/guardians should notify the school and explain their absence by using the  ‘Report A Pupil Absence’  form.
