The children in Primary Three would like to thank Shona’s mummy for leading an art workshop in P3.
Mrs Campbell is a contemporary artist who enjoys painting local landscapes using acrylic paint. Today, Mrs Campbell demonstrated an impressionistic style of painting.
The children had the opportunity to create their own impressionistic painting on a canvas base using acrylic paint.
They had a fantastic time mixing colours and creating their own masterpieces. We have displayed their paintings in school and we hope the other classes enjoy our exhibition.
We would like to thank Mrs Campbell for visiting our class today and for sharing her talent with us. We really appreciated Mrs Campbell’s time and the children asked her some interesting questions during the plenary session. It is just lovely for the children to see and celebrate the work of our parents within our community.
