We had an amazing day today in St Patrick’s with our special visitor Stewart Reid. He had a workshop with our P6 children then a brilliant assembly with our P4 to P7 classes.
I know the children and staff had a great day listening to Stewart as he talked about his books and having a love for words and reading. I think our pupils laughed from start to finish. Thank you to the parents who gave money into the school for their child to purchase a book.
The school have also bought a number of his books for our libraries.
If you didn’t get to purchase a book today you can still do so. Book prices are £7 each, two for £12, or a school special offer of four books for £20. Just send in the money with the title you would like to buy.
Simply send the money into school with the book title your child would like to read.
