Reminder - P7 Cake and Bun Sale Primary 7 ‘Cake and Bun Sale’ on Friday 24th April 2026.   Open to all classes P1 to P7.  Child brings in money they will get the opportunity to pick a few things they like.   They can then have if for their break or if they bring in a box they can take it home.    Sale open to parents and grandparents and other family members in the morning, 8.45 to 9.20 am.Adults can then call into the school hall and buy a selection of sweet treats to take home with them.   [Open Image]

A Step Back in Time ….

📕 Today P4 were transported back in time to an old school classroom where they were greeted by Miss Anderson- their teacher for the morning! 

📕 During the workshop, the boys and girls took part in lessons in reading, writing, arithmetic and geography using old slates and slate pencils.

📕 They also found out what happened to children who misbehaved or ‘fiddled’ or ‘slouched’!! 😳

📕 The morning lessons concluded with candle making and physical exercise. 

📕I think the children enjoyed the trip back in time but were glad to return to our normal classroom after break time!!

Thank you to Miss Anderson from Time Steps for your visit this morning - it really brought the old school classroom to life!!
