After School Gardening Club

EXCITING NEWS
Now that the good weather is upon us and planting season is near, we are currently in the middle of organising an ‘After Schools Gardening Club’.
Getting outside and into nature gives children the opportunity to learn in a hands-on way, encouraging them to move their bodies and develop their gross and fine motor skills; for example digging, carefully separating tiny seeds and handling delicate seedlings. Gardening encourages the use of all five senses, with sight, sound, smell, touch and taste being regularly exercised. As well as making the school outdoors look fabulous❤️
Whilst we will be purchasing some of the products required through our fundraising, we would be grateful for any donations of the following items:
🌷 Window Boxes
🪴 Plants for window boxes
🌱 Seeds
🌺 Soil
The school will be in touch with further details in due course ❤️
Please message us at friendsofmullinahoe@gmail.com and we will arrange collection of donations or alternatively you can leave with Mrs Haycock.
