This Week Is Maths Week Ireland As part of Maths Week Ireland for homework this week we are asking all our pupils to get into the Halloween spirit and design and make a 2D or 3D Shape Monster.  All pupils should bring their creation to school on Friday. They will be displayed in the Assembly Hall in their classes for everyone to see. The school will be selecting the winning monster/s from each class for the most creative idea and will present them with a special prize on the day at our whole school assembly. We look forward to seeing all the great idea our pupils can come up with. Have fun! [Open Image]

Book Week NI 📗 📘 📚

17th Oct 2024

Book Week NI is a week-long initiative celebrating the pleasures and benefits of reading. This year by adding Book Week NI onto our calendar we hope that we can encouraging children, teachers, and parents/carers to take more time to read and to make books and reading an important part of family activities.

On Monday 21 October to Sunday 27 October, as part of the overall week, we are asking families to take even 15 minutes out of their schedules to read. This can make such a positive difference as there are so many benefits to be gained from reading!

Our goal during Book Week NI is to encourage our pupils to read more for fun. To discover the joy in a good book and to encourage everyone to take time this week to stop and read.
