Today in Primary 5, the children really enjoyed exploring the ‘fantasy genre’. We looked at the key features of this genre and compared and contrasted with the science fiction genre which we have also been exploring.
The children worked in groups using a different picture stimulus to build their own ‘story mountain’ for their fantasy stories.
The ideas were fantastic and the children enjoyed using interesting adjectives to build up the tension within their stories.
