This week in P4/5 the children focused on exploring both 2D and 3D shape properties. We had lots of fun with 2D shapes exploring their vertices, sides and recognising if they had right angles.
the children engaged in a ‘Shape Task Board’ where they worked in teams to visit 5 stations in the classroom set up by Mrs McCann. The class had so much fun with Carroll, Tree and Venn diagrams as well as playing snap and jigsaw shape games.
i was very impressed with their listening skills and time management skills when using the classroom board timer to keep them on task. 👏☺️
