The children in P3 would like to send a big thank you to Fireman Mike, who came to visit them in school today.
Jai was so proud to see his dad in school and he shared lots of great information with his classmates about his Dad’s work in Australia.
The children prepared lots of very interesting questions to ask Fireman Mike about his work in Australia.
The children gained a lot from this session and they are now well informed on the role of the fireman.
During the interview, Mike taught the children how firemen signal to one another when they are on an emergency call.
The Fire Service provides a valuable service to our community and we would like to thank them for their amazing work!
The children were inspired by their conversations with Mike today and many of them would now like to move to Australia and join the Fire Service.
