Our P6 pupils have been learning about fractions.
They have been using multiplication and division to simplify, create equivalent fractions and to convert improper fractions into mixed numbers.
Our pupils recently completed a Fraction Action maths task, they worked in teams and used effective communication skills to solve a variety of fraction questions.
The pupils all worked together and they were able to discuss their mathematical method and complete all required calculations to reach a final answer.
