RESPECT As we begin our school year, it is important that we set out our standards for respect from the beginning. Simple things like a smile, good eye contact or a “hello” can make a huge difference when forming relationships with new friends and helping others. Small gestures towards others show that you value them and will help to build respect. In the month of September we will be focusing on the Christian value - RESPECT. This is also one of our Key School values. As a whole school community, we will be discussing what RESPECT means and what it should look like within each classroom. We will be looking at: How we show respect for each other and adults in the school community. How children are encouraged to value and respect their own and other people’s belongings. How children are encouraged to show tolerance by accepting feelings, habits or beliefs, racial or ethnic origins that are different from their own. Irish Dancing Term 2

Our Irish Dancing will resume in Term 2 for all the boys and girls in the school P1 –P7.

Below are the dates up to the Easter Holidays. New members are welcome, there is no previous experience required to join this club. Pupils can wear trainers or dancing shoes (dancing shoes are not compulsory for beginners).

The cost of the Irish Dancing school will be £3 per session paid directly to the Irish Dancing Teacher either weekly or in one lump sum where the total will be £27.

Only children who pay may attend.

The class will be divided into two sessions;

The first session      1.45 – 2.45 p.m. will be for children in  P1 – P3
The second session 2.45 – 3.45 p.m.  will be for children in  P4 – P7

Classes start for all year groups on Wednesday 29th of January. Please collect your child promptly from the main gate after each session has finished.
