Today Primary 2 headed off to Pomeroy Magical Forest on our first school trip of the year! The boys and girls had a brilliant time following the story trail around the forest. We met many different characters along the way; The Little Red Hen 🐓, Hansel and Gretal 🍬, The Three Little Pigs 🐷 and Finn McCool to name a few. We also took some time to read and re-enact some of the fairy tales in the woods. Throughout our walk we looked for ‘Signs of Autumn’ 🍁🍂. We collected lots of different coloured Autumn leaves and look forward to using these at play time tomorrow for Art and sorting activities.
Thank you to the boys and girls for their excellent behaviour and manners all day. They represented our school brilliantly and myself and Lisa are so proud of them.
