Today our Primary 6 children had a very informative, interactive and fun zoom session with Smoke busters.
We discussed how the trend of smoking cigarettes is fading and how vaping is a new strategy being used by tobacco companies to draw in more smokers.
Our children are very aware of the addictive substances these contain and how dangerous this is for our bodies.
They worked in groups after discussing their own addictions such as YouTube, gaming and sweets to discuss how they could plan something different and be in control.
Our children learnt the value of being a good role model and are encouraged to share their awareness of the dangers of smoking.
