As part of our continuing work on money, the children looked at special offers for popular items at the local shop. They worked with their numeracy partner to figure out the coins they needed to use to pay for an item. They also compared the prices of some items between supermarkets that they would shop in with their family. They learnt that it is often a good idea to shop around to find the best value for money.
