Well done to our boys football team for reaching the final of the St Canice Dungiven football Tournament in Owenbeg.
There were ten schools competing in the A and B competitions. After the group games and a free taking competition to decide one of the semi finalists there were four great semi finals in both competitions.
The A final saw us meet Termoncanice. This was a fantastic game played at a great pace and with a great deal of skill on display from both sides. Unfortunately for us we couldn’t find a way past their keeper who had an amazing game. When the final whistle blew it was Termoncanice who just edged in front by 2 points to claim the A title. Even though we lost out we are very proud of the way both teams played during the day.
