St Patrick's Primary School, Ardboe, Dungannon
Easter Egg Design & Rolling Competition 🐣 Please boil an egg at home and decorate it with your own design. It can be any theme — not just Easter. You might choose sports, family, television, books, or anything else you enjoy. You can use paints or markers to decorate your egg. Remember to add your name (or initials) and your class so the eggs don’t get mixed up. Bring your decorated egg into school on Tuesday 31st of March. Please wrap your egg carefully when bringing it into school and class teachers will safely store all the eggs until Wednesday 1st of April. On Wednesday 1st of April, we will help judge the winners in each class and also see which eggs roll best! Of course there will be other fun Easter activities along the way, maybe even a little Easter treat! [Open Image]

Time Steps Visit

10th Jun 2022

On Wednesday, Eva Jones, the Evacuation Officer, visited the boys and girls in P4 to prepare them for evacuation to the safety of the countryside. The children were given their own identity cards and labels for the journey. They were told what items to pack in their suitcases - including a small toy - and were reminded about how their food would rationed because of the war. The children also learned what to do in the event of an air raid and were reminded of the importance of carrying their gas masks with them at all times.

Many thanks to Stephanie from Time Steps for a very interesting and realistic Workshop - the children are all ready for departure next week!
