Visit to Cookstown Library π
On Wednesday the P4 children paid a visit to Cookstown Library. There we met Ann Marie, Paul and Sharon who talked about the layout and organisation of books in the fiction and non fiction sections of the library. Sharon read a seasonal Hallowe’en story to the children and we all had a chance to locate, find and read some fantastic books from many different authors across a wide selection of topics.
The children all had a very enjoyable morning and later that day we received an email from the library thanking us for the visit and commending the children on their manners and behaviour during the visit. The boys and girls should all be very proud of themselves and I would not hesitate to take the class out on another visit this year!
Well done girls and boys - we are very proud of you all! π
Thank you Mrs Haycock for accompanying us on our visit today. π€
