P5 have been learning lots about volcanoes through their topic ‘Extreme Earth’.
To support them in their understanding about the process of volcanic eruption today we carried out an experiment.
Our science investigation involved using water, baking soda, vinegar, food colouring and dairy liquid. Together we were able to create a chemical reaction which reflected a volcanic eruption!
We had lots of fun ☺️
